Missionary Aviation and Missions links:
IAMA
- A comprehensive look at
missionary aviation; basically all you need to know
MissLinks
- This is a Web-based Missions Directory of
all kinds of information about global missions.
The
Joshua Project - This site gives the up-to-date information on
all the unreached people groups (UPG) of the world at a glance.
The purpose is to expose to the Christian public the people groups
of the world that have the least, if any, understanding of the
Gospel in their culture, language or proximity, with the hope that
this information will encourage God's people to commit themselves to
evangelize and plant churches among every ethnic people group.
Missionary Aviation Schools (in order of my
ranking):
Liberty
University - Of
course this is my #1 school...I graduated from there! And the
growth of the aviation department is exploding. (plus LU
Global)
Moody
Bible Institute - I
left when they shut down their main campus and moved; they are still
operating out of Washington State.
LeTourneau
University - Geared mostly for commercial pilots, yet it has everything you'll
need
Other missionary aviation schools:
SMAT Bob Jones University Prairie School of Aviation
San Diego Christian College
Mission Boards with significant aviation
programs:
AIM
- Church planting and support concentrated with the
people in Africa.
JAARS
- Bible Translation
New
Tribes Mission - Working with
tribal peoples
Missionary
Aviation Fellowship - Support flying for various organizations
and groups.
